Janet believes that all women deserve a financial advisor who listens to their concerns, understands their dreams, and shares in their vision for a secure life. Janet co-founded the Women’s Practice of HoyleCohen, LLC to support women in designing a supportive and encouraging environment both physically and emotionally. She knows that when women confidently navigate their financial future, they are better prepared for life’s unforeseen changes and anticipated transitions.

Janet knows that every woman has a unique story. With a deep understanding of how women view money and wealth differently than men, Janet leads her clients through an in-depth and thoughtful planning process. She thrives on helping them gain the clarity, purpose and direction they need to confidently manage their financial lives.

Spanning over 30 years in investment management serving individuals, nonprofits, and Fortune 100 companies, Janet provides a vast amount of investment experience and knowledge to the people she serves.

In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner®, Janet earned her MBA while raising a family and building her business. Yes, she missed her marketing class final when her second son decided to make his debut 4 weeks early!

With a commitment to giving back, Janet has deep roots in her community. She serves on the boards of directors for the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego where she chairs the Investment Committee, Hillel San Diego (Legacy Committee chair), and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (Treasurer).  She is a member of the Jewish Women’s Foundation and serves on its Leadership Council.

Janet has been honored as a finalist for San Diego Magazine’s Women Who Move The City and San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Awards. She spends time between her homes in San Diego and Big Sky, Montana where she enjoys her family and the outdoors in diverse environments.
