soundchange.com

With more than 15 years of leadership and management experience in the business and educational arenas, Stephanie is a skilled career coach, business consultant, educator, and speaker. With her early career starting in marketing, Stephanie made a smooth transition to education in 2003, began coaching professionally in 2007, and reentered the business world full time in 2013.

Stephanie received her professional coaching certification from New York University, and is also certified at the ACC level with the International Coaching Federation. With a BS in counseling, Stephanie has a Masters from Columbia University in applied social and organizational psychology.

After noticing that many of her individual clients were career changers or buddy entrepreneurs, Stephanie chose to focus her coaching on career transition and founded Sound Change Career Coaching. Sound Change is dedicated to supporting people in designing smart and sound career change adventures. A true believer in marrying logic and intuition, Stephanie believes these two abilities are not mutually exclusive. Stephanie's method includes using personality and skill set analysis in a lighthearted way to help people navigate their next professional move. Having had the unique opportunity to do contract recruting while she was simultaneously job seeking and studying organzational design and current HR practices, her well-rounded view of this field brings both a personal and practiced approach.

Since 2007, Stephanie has been an active business consultant working mostly with small and mid-size businesses in the areas of marketing, change management, recruiting, process improvement, and leadership development. She is also a Senior Consultant of instructional design for Inqune, a consulting firm that creates learning and development programs from cloud computing companies that drive revenue and fuel growth.

Stephanie is passionate about supporting young women in developing into authentic compassionate leaders, which motivated her to co-found Get Smart Mentoring, a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to train and develop young women personally and professionally. As the executive director, she currently mentors an international team of virtual interns, in the areas of leadership, marketing, communication, philanthropy, writing, group dynamics, fundraising, and how to prepare for life in the professional world. She regularly provides mentoring and trainings to schools, organizations, and young women in need.

More than anything, Stephanie is often accused of "loving everyone." Seeing the pure potentional in each human being is more than a hobby, it's a calling. To schedule a free 30 minute session with Stephanie, click here
